Why dementia?

I first worked with someone who had dementia about thirty years ago. I've seen how it can impact a person and their loved ones, and I want to help.

I've learned some simple ways of connecting and communicating. Strategies that enable ease and encourage joy. It can feel so bewildering for all involved, but there are ways of making it feel easier.

People can find it incredibly difficult to take care of their own needs when someone they love is struggling. Women in particular seem programmed to put everyone else first. This course can help change that.

There are no magic wands but it might be possible to make life better. Do call if you would like to talk more about whether this course could help you.
